Something free in China!!

I've encountered my first FREE tourist attraction in China! You can actually climb up to the top of the Tianjin Drum Tower without paying an admission fee. The inside looks like other old Chinese towers and structures I've seen, but the fact that it's free makes it better. :) You get to see the little souvenir booths below and see the contrast between ancient Chinese architecture and the modern high-rises in the background.

Cute Souvenirs
At one of the booths at the foot of the Drum Tower, I also saw these really cute bean sculptures. I was so enamored I got two of them for 25 yuan. If it wasn't starting to rain, I could have bargained a little more, but 12.5 yuan apiece is okay for these cuties.
